Hot Tip for the day from Susan and Jeanne-Marie: Hold your paint brush like a pencil to acheive control, especially when painting the edge of a square. No need to overload paint on your brush. Have fun mixing two colours at once to create depth. By the way, best not to wear your party gear when you are painting the town red!

Family Learning Weekend -Tomorrow and Sunday. Undercroydon and BID invite families with children of all ages to paint and express themselves through a public mural. Create a more vibrant outdoor space.

Hot Tip for the day! from Dave and Roy 'When taking a break with a cuppa tea - wrap up your rollers and brushes in plastic bags to keep them moist. You don't want to dry up and ruin your nice expensive Purdy brushes, do ya!'

First Day : Priming.

First day of painting. Nice day, 28 degrees. Perfect weather for priming in October.
Hot tip from Robert: 'Make sure you degrease tile surface before priming . Do not use white spirit but can use vodka or meths- whatever you have to make a sharp solvent'. This is an important procedure before painting on the best primer for ceramic tiles- Bullseye 123. Undercroydon loves this product.
